{"id":1025,"date":"2023-04-04T02:52:12","date_gmt":"2023-04-04T02:52:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/tirinha.com\/the-1975-catarse-a-beira-do-terceiro-album\/"},"modified":"2023-04-04T02:52:12","modified_gmt":"2023-04-04T02:52:12","slug":"the-1975-catarse-a-beira-do-terceiro-album","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/tirinha.com\/nl\/1025\/the-1975-catarse-a-beira-do-terceiro-album\/","title":{"rendered":"The 1975: catharsis aan de vooravond van het derde album"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><\/p>\n<div>\n<h3>We herinneren ons hoe het kwartet uit Manchester de weg bewandelde die leidde van <em>bar<\/em> De meest alternatieve club van de stad, die muziek maakt die het Witte Huis in het nauw drijft.<\/h3>\n<p>Als er \u00e9\u00e9n band is die de afgelopen tien jaar echt is opgevallen in de internationale alternatieve muziekscene, dan hebben we het over The 1975. Hedendaagse bands zoals Cigarettes After Sex en The Neighborhood begonnen hun carri\u00e8re in... <em>bar<\/em> De meest gemarginaliseerde jongeren in Manchester in 2004 (toen Engeland nog steeds juichend toekeek hoe de Arctic Monkeys de hitlijsten bestormden) waren middelbare scholieren die aan niets anders dachten dan geld verdienen om hasj te kopen. Pas in 2011, met dezelfde bezetting als in het begin, begonnen ze het serieus te nemen en vormden ze de esthetiek, het karakter en het geluid van de band die we vandaag kennen.<\/p>\n<p>In 2012 lukte het hen voor het eerst om hun muziek op een nationale Engelse radiozender te laten draaien, met een van de nummers van hun eerste EP., <em>de stad<\/em>. Vanaf dat moment groeide haar populariteit, met een keerpunt na de release van haar titelloze debuutalbum. Het bereikte namelijk pas bijna een jaar na de release de nummer \u00e9\u00e9n positie in de Britse hitlijsten (wat veel critici verbaasde, en het album wist ook niet door te dringen tot de alternatieve hitlijsten).<\/p>\n<p>De onbetwiste leider van de band, Matty Healy, streefde er destijds naar om het rebelse wonderkind van de Angelsaksische onafhankelijke scene te worden. Hij was 1,60 meter lang, mager, met krullend haar dat zijn gezicht bedekte en tenger van het roken in plaats van eten. De bijnaam &quot;wonderkind&quot; vergezelt hem echter omdat hij, na een succesvolle tournee door Amerika tussen 2013 en 2014, de gelederen van de groep wist te sluiten en zichzelf en zijn bandleden de tijd gaf om na te denken over wat ze werkelijk wilden zijn als artiesten.<\/p>\n<p>Dit betekent dat de band twee jaar later een volledige comeback maakte in de muziekwereld met hun tweede studioalbum. <em>Ik vind het fijn als je slaapt, want je bent zo mooi, maar je hebt het zelf niet eens door.<\/em>, Het album is ritmisch gezien veel vloeiender, met meer popinvloeden, minder gitaren, maar met een grotere mate van volwassenheid en ontwikkeling bij de vier muzikanten. Desondanks leverde de nieuwe stijl van de band, met Gucci-pakken en roze licht in plaats van zwarte achtergronden, hen talloze nominaties voor prijzen en lovende kritieken uit de muziekindustrie op. Hun tweede album werd zelfs door Rolling Stone uitgeroepen tot Album van het Jaar.<\/p>\n<p>Healy paste dezelfde terugtrekkingsstrategie eind 2016 toe, en halverwege dit jaar barstte de band opnieuw los met <em>Geef jezelf een kans.<\/em>Een nummer dat terugkeert naar het oorspronkelijke geluid van de band, maar met een nieuwe esthetiek en een stem die veel meer geworteld is in actuele thema&#039;s zoals zelfmoordpreventie, lichaamsacceptatie en een onderzoek naar relaties. <em>online<\/em> die deze hele nieuwe generatie lijken te doordringen en daarmee ook het nieuwe werk van de groep.<\/p>\n<p>Na deze eerste <em>enkel<\/em>De Britse band bracht tot wel vier andere promotionele singles van hun nieuwe album uit., <em>Een kort onderzoek naar online relaties.<\/em>, die al een publicatiedatum heeft, namelijk 30 november aanstaande. Enkele titels die we al kennen zijn: <em>TE TIJD TE TIJD<\/em>, <em>Eerlijkheid is angstaanjagend.<\/em>,<em> Het is geen leven (als het niet met jou is) <\/em>elk <em>Ik vind het geweldig als we het doen.<\/em>Dit nummer verdient een eigen artikel, want de hoeveelheid populaire cultuur die erin verwerkt is en tegelijkertijd bekritiseert, rechtvaardigt meer dan een paar regels, een product van Healy&#039;s briljante geest.<\/p>\n<p>Het wachten tot de 30e werd verzacht door de band zelf, die de data aankondigde voor hun aankomende tournee door Engeland en de Verenigde Staten.
