Spain prepares for one of the most anticipated weeks of the year<\/span><\/h2>\n

It will be the second year that Holy Week is celebrated after the global pandemic and good weather is expected to be present.<\/strong><\/p>\n

O Holy Week<\/strong> It is celebrated throughout Spain, but there are many customs, traditions and curiosities that make it up. Furthermore, this festival causes the arrival of tourists from all over the world. <\/span><\/p>\n

In Malaga, every Holy Wednesday a prisoner<\/strong> no blood crimes are released. Sounds strange, right?<\/span><\/p>\n

It all started when the plague epidemics<\/strong> reached the Andalusian province. A group of prisoners devoted to Christ asked the prison director to start a procession after the difficult times they were experiencing. The director refused the proposal. Continuing with the legend of Malaga, the prisoners, after the director's rejection, organized an uprising in the prison and managed to escape. However, they went to the convent where the image of Christ in the procession they intended to take was and paraded it through all the streets. After doing so, they returned to prison instead of escaping. <\/span><\/p>\n
