{"id":965,"date":"2023-04-03T22:50:12","date_gmt":"2023-04-03T22:50:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/tirinha.com\/25-anos-de-encontro-entre-ciencia-e-arte\/"},"modified":"2023-04-03T22:50:12","modified_gmt":"2023-04-03T22:50:12","slug":"25-years-of-encounter-between-science-and-art","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/tirinha.com\/en\/965\/25-anos-de-encontro-entre-ciencia-e-arte\/","title":{"rendered":"25 years of encounter between science and art"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><\/p>\n<p>        The first <strong>Miradas Jorge Ali\u00f3 Foundation Competition<\/strong> was created in <strong>1998<\/strong> of the works of a hundred artists from Alicante, who exhibited at the IFA during the Congress of the Spanish Society of Ophthalmology. <strong>twenty-five years later<\/strong>this biennial call for painting, with <strong>thirteen national editions <\/strong>It is <strong>ten international<\/strong>attracted <strong>more than 2,500 artists<\/strong>who have participated since<strong> 27 countries<\/strong>has already awarded more than<strong> 70 works <\/strong>is performed <strong>20 exhibitions <\/strong>traveling, three of them in Italy.\n<\/p>\n<div wp_automatic_readability=\"96.999707088459\">\n<p class=\"article-body__text\">\n<p>        Miradas celebrates its first quarter century with a major exhibition curated by <strong>Juana Maria Balsalobre<\/strong> which occupies the entire municipal hall of the <strong>Alicante Market<\/strong>opened yesterday with <strong>91 artistic pieces<\/strong> who always try to show<strong> \u201cthe expressiveness of vision\u201d<\/strong> or provide <strong>\u201ca visual meaning\u201d<\/strong>as the professor and Jorge Ali\u00f3 highlighted yesterday.\n<\/p>\n<p class=\"article-body__text\">\n<p>        The competition, whose basis is the <strong>communion between science and art<\/strong> to \u201craise awareness about the importance of <strong>eye health and blindness prevention<\/strong>\u00bb, added the director of the competition and president of the Ali\u00f3 Foundation, <strong>Maria Lopez<\/strong>consolidated itself in the artistic scene as <strong>encounter with undoubted power of attraction<\/strong>which each year brings together the work of <strong>more than a hundred creators -many repeat-<\/strong>valued by a <strong>prestigious jury<\/strong>this year chaired by the theorist and art critic<strong> Alfonso de la Torre<\/strong>specialist in Spanish contemporary art, who considered this competition a \u201crarity\u201d and \u201can honor\u201d to preside over it.\n<\/p>\n<article class=\"article-photo article-photo--\" wp_automatic_readability=\"28\">\n    <!-- \/.multimedia-block__element --><\/p>\n<p class=\"article-photo__footer\">\n            <em>Jorge Ali\u00f3, \u00c1ngel Mateo Charris and Mar\u00eda L\u00f3pez<\/em>            <span>HECTOR SOURCES<\/span>        <\/p>\n<p><!-- \/.article-photo__footer --><br \/>\n    <\/article>\n<p><!-- \/.article-photo article-photo-- --><\/p>\n<p class=\"article-body__text\">\n<p>        De la Torre appealed to the<strong> \u201cmystery of the look\u201d <\/strong>in this year&#039;s award-winning works, announced yesterday during the exhibition, which are housed in the Explanada room with the finalists, together with other <strong>34 photographic works<\/strong> in the Tabarca room (in the first exhibition of this discipline), in addition to other <strong>13 honor paintings and international awards<\/strong> in the Luceros room and 9 children&#039;s drawings in the entrance hall. Curator Balsalobre highlighted that in all of them \u201ca symbiosis between visual health, prevention of blindness and pictorial creation\u201d prevails.\n<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"article-body__ladillo\">awarded this year<\/h2>\n<p class=\"article-body__text\">\n<p>        Today the unique prize from the first edition of 1998 was passed on to <strong>four main prizes<\/strong>, <strong>two mentions<\/strong> honorific titles and the selection of <strong>three works for the international competition<\/strong>which will be regulated next July, in addition to the <strong>Professional and Artistic Trajectory Award<\/strong>which this year was for the artist from Cartagena<strong> Angel Mateo Charris<\/strong> with your work <em>The ophthalmologist&#039;s dream<\/em>, whose name joins those of Luis Feito, Pol\u00edn Laporta, Jos\u00e9 M\u00aa Yturralde or Eduardo Naranjo, among others.
