Spring is full of attractions cultural commitments for this second quarter of the year in Fuenlabrada. O National Dance Company performs in the city after the enormous success achieved on the stages of New York, London, Paris or Los Angeles. A new edition of the HDC Rockin'Fest takes place in La Pollina, the Copla Days with Juan Valderrama, Martirio and Chano Domínguez, the Rafael Cadenas Cervantes Prize visits the Literary Café, the SwitchOn Urban Culture Festival and the III Circus Festival, among many other proposals.
The Councilor for Culture, Mónica Sebastián, highlighted that it is a program where “culture will reach all tastes and all audiences in an agenda full of high quality events on different stages in the city and in free outdoor spaces such as the Centro Municipal La Pollina or Plaza de la Constitución “tailored to a living, participatory and dynamic city”.

theater and dance
The theatrical program begins in style this first weekend with the presentation of 'Ay Carmela', by José Carlos Plaza, starring María Adánez and Pepón Nieto.
The director of the National Dance Company, Joaquín de Luz, will dance at the Teatro Tomás y Valiente, with the show with which he has triumphed on the most important stages in the world. A unique opportunity for the public who loves this art.
music days
Juan Valderrama, after passing through the Teatro Real de Madrid, takes to the stage in Fuenlabrena with his show 'Diván del Tamarit' which covers flamenco, copla, tango and even Andalusian rock.
The program includes a performance by Martirio, accompanied on the piano by Chano Domínguez with his 'Coplas de Madruga', interpreting themes such as Ojos Verdes and Tatuaje among others.

International Circus Festival
The Circus Festival returns for its third edition with a program that is more powerful and fun than ever. For three days, the La Pollina Municipal Center will be full of activities, shows and workshops to enjoy the circus in all its diversity.
The book, the protagonist
Book Day is full of activities in each of the municipal libraries to encourage reading. Book exchange, storytelling, theater for babies, stories with live music, poems, oral storytelling and much more for adults and children.
This year the XXXVIII edition of the Book Fair is being celebrated, which will return to the Parque de la Fuente space with theater, parades, recitals and lots of literature. This year will revolve around the world of comics.
HDC Rockin'Fest
The bikes will roar again at La Pollina along with the best live rock shows at the HDC Festival. Many activities, workshops and exhibitions of American cars and trucks over three days to enjoy this festival in our city for the second year in a row.
To connect
The Urban Culture Festival arrives in May at Plaza de la Constitución. Shows such as Pta Zeta, urban dance, cock battles, skateboarding, graffiti and much more aimed at young lovers of urban rhythms.
Literary Café
The winner of the Cervantes Prize, poet Rafael Cadenas, will be the guest author at Café Literário in April. An opportunity to reflect on the magical universe of her work and in May it is the turn of author Care Santos on this same program.
