GETAFE/18OCT/CULTURA _ Four concerts by internationally renowned organists make up the II Edition of the Organ Festival what will happen in St. Mary Magdalene Cathedral to the next December 14th.

The Festival aims to publicize the sacred and religious music from the 16th to 18th centuries in one of the most emblematic spaces in the city and all concerts “are free” highlighted, the Culture Advisor, Pablo Martínez.

He Vicar of the Diocese of Getafe, Javier Romera, declared that she was “proud to lend the temple for cultural dissemination” because if “God is beauty, God is music”.

The Festival starts tomorrow with a conference on the restoration process of the baroque organ of the Cathedral “which lasted 2 years and 20 people worked” and this Saturday is the first concert with Matteo Imbrunohead organist of the “Hermitage” museum in Amsterdam.

This Festival organized by Getafe City Hall It has a budget of 15,000 euros and last year at every concert “the temple was filled and there was a spectacular silence”.

Other concerts are Juan de la Rubia on November 9th, the soprano, Raquel Andueza and the organist, Daniel Oyarzabalon November 30th and to close Pieter van Dijk on December 14th.
