ALCORCÓN / Grandmother's Day is celebrated on Sunday with a flower and a poem

ALCOCÓN/ 18OCT/ SOCIETY_ The Alcorcón City Council, through Department of Family and Elderlycelebrate this next one Sunday, October 20th, Grandmother's Day. “This is a moment in which we want to give very special recognition to the grandmothers of the municipality, a fundamental pillar in all families. They are the ones who largely transmitted to us the traditions and essence of each family, which were daughters, mothers and finally grandmothers. This government team focuses its policies on families; your well-being is the well-being of everyone”, declared the second vice mayor, Silvia Cruz.

To celebrate this day, during the usual dance that takes place every Sunday at the Centro Municipal do Idoso Salvador Allende, all grandmothers present will receive a flower and a poem, and will read them.

The women of Alcorcón, who are grandmothers, and wish to participate in this tribute especially dedicated to them all, can go to Salvador Allende, on Sunday, October 20th, from 4:45 pm to 7:45 pm.
