The Councilor for Equality of Coslada, Teresa González Ausín, presented this morning the Actions for Equality for the second quarter of 2023 which will begin to develop from April 17th and will run until June.

Among the new proposals is the 'Don't sell your motorcycle' workshop to «identify rumors and misleading news around women», explains the councilor for Equality. “It’s about dismantling gender misinformation and providing the tools to discern between truth and deception.”

Another new feature is the 'Rumbo a mí' workshop, a Coaching proposal for reconciliation and time managementwhile the third revised activity is the one titled 'Alternative Care'

The latter is “a space to identify discomforts that are not so visible because they fit into roles that are marked by gender and that force women to multitask. we intend to teach identify situations that cause us to overload responsibilities that must be shared“, concludes Teresa González.

Actions for equality

The action plan is characterized by containing a diversified offer of activities that promote the physical and emotional well-being of women and learning to live together in equality and prevent violence against women.

The headquarters of the activities will be CIDAM and the Almudena Grandes Equality Space in the Multifunctional Building. In addition to the workshops, training and theater monographs are included, as well as children's proposals that allow leisure to be shared with the family, promoting equality and co-responsibility.

The actions presented for the first quarter were developed from January to March and included the emotional self-defense through photography and family workshopsbetween others.
