The Last Of Us is a video game created by Naughty Dog that until now was exclusive to PlayStation and, given the success of the title and requests from players to bring it to the computer, the developer decided to release it for this device.
Although it had planned to release it on March 3rd, the studio announced in February that it would delay it until the 28th of the same month to “guarantee” that this version would “meet” user expectations.

At the premiere, which took place on the announced date, there were problems related to graphics drivers and other incidents, as reported by some users on social media.
Naughty Dog published a statement referring to these errors, in which it said it was investigating to resolve them. Specifically, the game shows difficulty loading shaders - a type of graphical enhancement for a more realistic appearance -, an action that takes “more time than expected”, while performance and instability decrease when they are loaded in the background.
On the other hand, older graphics drivers cause instability and graphics issues, and it is also possible that there is a possible memory leak and the game cannot be launched even if it meets the minimum system requirements.
The developer commented that it is prioritizing updates for The Last of Us Part I, that it will resolve these issues in upcoming patches, and that it will inform players as it resolves these bugs.
