An armed robbery rocked the well-known TEFAF art fair in Maastricht, the Netherlands, this morning, shortly before its closure. As seen in a video posted on social media by a witness, four elegantly dressed individuals smashed the windows of the London jewelry store Symbolic & Chase with apples. One of them pointed a gun at a person who approached with the intention of intervening.
All visitors to the fair, which takes place at the MECC convention center, were evacuated. Police confirmed the robbery around noon and shortly afterwards reported that two of the four suspects had been arrested, Reuters reports.
